Tepi Naturals® began with the soft, joyful sound of a baby’s voice. During a family moment we’ll never forget, our youngest daughter babbled a sweet, melodic chant—“tepi, tepi, tepi”—between giggles. To others, it may have sounded like simple baby talk, but to us, it became a symbol: a reminder of the beauty found in life’s smallest, most heartfelt moments.

That sound became our name—and our mission. Today, she helps guide the heart of our brand, overseeing our company ethos, storytelling, and creative direction.At the core of Tepi Naturals is our founder, Brent Thomas, a dedicated Eagle Scout and Master of Organic Chemistry. Brent’s deep respect for nature and scientific expertise led to a product line that blends clean, sustainable ingredients with purposeful formulation. His vision ensures that every product is rooted in both gentle care and scientific integrity.

As a family-owned company, we are passionate about creating body care powered by upcycled coffee silverskin, plant-based ingredients, and a commitment to sustainability. Following his master's degree in organic chemistry from San Diego State University, Brent Thomas, inspired by scientific studies shared by his father in the coffee industry, delved into extensive research on coffee's potential for skin care. His focus was on the unique beneficial compounds found in coffee silverskin, setting the foundation for Tepi Naturals.

With over 30 years of experience in the coffee industry and marketing, Steve, Brent's father, was ecstatic when his son expressed a desire to start his own company based on the scientific journals he had shared. The dream of making it a family business added to the joy.

-Jody Thomas

Jody, Brent's mother, joined the company to oversee procurement and accounting, utilizing her background in finance and management. Her contributions are essential to the financial stability and supply chain of the company, ensuring Tepi Natural products maintain the highest quality.

-Sam Thomas

Brent's youngest sibling, Sam, with a background in art and interior design and a passion for ethical skincare, contributed to the development of the company's ethos, culture, and marketing. Together with Brent, they established a company culture centered on sustainability, social responsibility, and transparency.
